Building Community at Our Meet & Greet in Orange
This past week, I had the pleasure of hosting a meet & greet at Inner City Café in Orange, and what an incredible experience it was. Events like these remind me exactly why I’m running: to stay connected, listen closely, and build a campaign rooted in the voices of our community.
The event was free and open to all, creating a welcoming space for residents from across Orange to come together, share their thoughts, and engage in meaningful conversation. I was grateful for the opportunity to meet so many neighbors, hear your concerns, and discuss the issues that matter most to you and your families.
We talked about the upcoming election and our shared future. I heard from residents about how we can create safer streets, stronger schools, and more opportunities for everyone in our District. Your ideas, feedback, and energy continue to shape this campaign in powerful ways.
Hosting this gathering at Inner City Café made the morning that much more special. Supporting a small, Black-owned, woman-owned business is not just a statement—it’s a commitment to uplifting the entrepreneurs and community leaders who help drive our local economy forward every day.
I left the event feeling inspired and energized. This campaign is about all of us, and together, we are building something meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who came out, shared your voice, and spent part of your evening with me. If you couldn’t make it this time, I look forward to seeingyou at a future event. Let’s keepthe conversation going.
