My name is Medinah Muhammad, and I have built my career on a simple belief: public service is our responsibility to one another. I am proud East Orange resident who has consistently stepped into leadership roles with courage and purpose, often as the youngest person in the room, and determined to make space for others to be heard.

I am running for Essex County Commissioner in District 3 because I believe our communities deserve leadership that reflects them and fights for them. Grounded in family, faith, and service, I remain committed to ensuring every resident has a seat at the table and a voice in shaping our future. I believe elected officials should be transparent, accessible, committed, and accountable.
