Community Impact Award from the Urban League of Essex County

This past Sunday, March 29, 2026,  I was deeply honored to receive the Community Impact Award from the Urban League Young Professionals of Essex County in recognition of Women’s History Month. It was a truly humbling experience to be celebrated alongside so many remarkable women changemakers.

The Urban League Young Professionals of Essex County promote advocacy and community programs. They work tirelessly to address systemic challenges, promote economic mobility, and inspire the next generation of leaders.

Being recognized by such a dynamic organization is a reminder of why I am so passionate about service and community engagement. It’s not about accolades, but about the impact we can have when we dedicate our time and energy to others. This award motivates me to continue working toward equitable policies, meaningful programs, and opportunities that uplift women, families, and neighborhoods across Essex County, especially in District 3.

I am grateful to the Urban League Young Professionals of Essex County for this honor.
