Endorsement from 32BJ SEIU

I am proud to announce that my campaign for Essex County Commissioner, District 3, has been endorsed by 32BJ SEIU, one of the largest property service workers’ unions in the country and a powerful voice for working people across our region. This endorsement is especially meaningful to me because the values that guide 32BJ’s work are deeply aligned with the vision I have for Essex County.

32BJ SEIU is committed to building a future where every worker has a path to a better life — where people can earn fair wages, receive quality benefits, and work with dignity and respect. The union also advocates for economic, social, racial, and environmental justice and believes in the power of working people to create meaningful change in their communities. That is the kind of Essex County I want to help build.

As County Commissioner, I will work to expand economic opportunity, support good-paying jobs, strengthen our small businesses, and ensure that working families have a real opportunity to thrive. I believe economic development should not simply mean attracting investment — it should mean creating opportunities that reach the people who live and work in our communities.

Our county is home to thousands of hardworking residents who keep our schools, businesses, offices, buildings, transportation systems, and communities running every day. Their work deserves to be recognized, respected, and fairly compensated.

I also believe that economic opportunity cannot be separated from social, racial, and environmental justice. The decisions we make at the county level impact whether families can afford to remain in their communities, whether residents have access to good jobs, whether our neighborhoods are healthy and safe, and whether the next generation has the opportunity to succeed.

That is why I am running. I am running to bring experience, accountability, and a commitment to working people to the Essex County Board of Commissioners. I am honored that 32BJ SEIU has placed its trust in our campaign, and I am grateful to the union members and leaders who continue to fight every day for stronger workplaces and stronger communities.

This campaign has always been about bringing people together around a shared vision for Essex County — a county where working families can thrive, where opportunity is accessible to everyone, and where our government works for the people it serves.

With the support of organized labor and communities across District 3, we are building that future together. Working People. Strong Communities. A Better Essex County.
