Climate Revolution Action Network Endorsement

 

I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Climate Revolution Action Network in my campaign for Essex County Commissioner, District 3. This endorsement reflects a shared commitment to building a healthier, more sustainable, and more equitable future for the residents of Essex County.

Climate justice is community justice. The neighborhoods across District 3 — from East Orange to South Orange, Orange, Newark, and beyond — deserve leaders who understand the direct impact that environmental policy has on public health, housing, transportation, economic opportunity, and quality of life. Communities of color and working families are often the first to experience the consequences of environmental neglect, from poor air quality to flooding and lack of green infrastructure.

As County Commissioner, I will continue advocating for policies that prioritize:

  • Environmental sustainability and clean energy initiatives

  • Investments in public transportation and walkable communities

  • Green job opportunities for local residents

  • Protection of public parks and open spaces

  • Infrastructure improvements that address climate resilience and flooding concerns

  • Equitable access to healthy and sustainable communities

I deeply appreciate the trust and confidence that the Climate Revolution Action Network has placed in this campaign. Their endorsement strengthens our movement and reinforces the importance of electing leaders who are prepared to take bold action on climate and environmental justice issues.

This campaign has always been about people — creating a county government that listens, leads with integrity, and invests in the future of all residents.
