East Orange Comes Together for a Powerful Day of Action

Yesterday, volunteers, friends, and neighbors came together across East Orange for an incredible Day of Action focused on one goal: reaching voters and building momentum ahead of the June 2nd election.

From the First Ward to the Fifth Ward, our team spent the day knocking on doors, making phone calls, and speaking directly with residents in every part of the district. The energy throughout the city was inspiring as volunteers connected with neighbors about the importance of this election and encouraged them to make their voices heard at the ballot box.

These conversations matter. Campaigns are not just about signs, mailers, or advertisements — they are about people. Throughout the day, we heard directly from residents about the issues that matter most to them. We also reminded voters that Election Day is June 2nd and that every vote will help shape the direction of our community.

What made this Day of Action so meaningful was the commitment shown by everyone involved. Volunteers dedicated their Saturday to walking neighborhoods, calling voters, and ensuring that residents felt informed, heard, and engaged in the democratic process.

I am deeply grateful to every person who participated, opened their door, answered a phone call, or offered words of encouragement throughout the day. This campaign continues to be powered by community, and together we are building a movement rooted in service, connection, and hope for East Orange.

As we head into the final days before the election, our work continues. We will keep showing up, reaching voters, and fighting for a stronger future for every resident in East Orange.

Remember to vote on June 2, 2026!
