Kickoff Fundraiser Launches Strong Campaign Momentum

On Monday, May 18th, we proudly hosted our official kickoff fundraiser at the Essex County Democratic Committee Headquarters in West Orange. The evening brought together family, friends, colleagues, community leaders, and supporters from across Essex County who believe in the power of service, leadership, and building a stronger future together.

I am deeply grateful for the overwhelming support shown throughout the event. Seeing so many people come together in one room was both humbling and energizing. This campaign is about community, and Monday night was a powerful reminder that we are stronger when we stand together.

We were honored to hear inspiring remarks from several respected leaders, including former Newark Councilwoman Bessie Walker, Orange Mayor Dwayne Warren, and East Orange, Essex County, and New Jersey State Democratic Committee Chairman Leroy J. Jones Jr.. Their words of encouragement and commitment to our shared values helped make the evening truly special.

Most importantly, I want to thank every single person who attended, contributed, volunteered, called, texted, shared encouragement, and supported this campaign in any way. Your belief in this movement means everything.

A special thank you goes out to my family, friends, and colleagues for standing beside me during this important moment. Your support continues to motivate me every step of the way.

This kickoff fundraiser was only the beginning. Together, we are building a campaign rooted in unity, progress, and opportunity for our community. I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you.
