Today, Monday, March 23, 2026, I officially filed my petition to become a candidate for Essex County Commissioner representing District 3, which includes East Orange, Orange, South Orange, and the West Ward of Newark. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey, one fueled by a deep commitment to service and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the community that raised me.

Shirley Chisholm once said, “Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth.”

I am running because service has always been at the center of everything I do. Every decision I make, every project I take on, is guided by the belief that public service is about putting people first. From strengthening local infrastructure and supporting small businesses to expanding youth programs and ensuring accessible services for seniors, my focus will always be on initiatives that improve the lives of the residents I would privileged to represent if elected.

My campaign is centered on connection, accountability, and action. I want to meet the residents and business owners from District. I want to hear your concerns and work together to build a stronger, more equitable Essex County. Your voice matters to me, and your needs will guide every step of my work if elected Commissioner.
