Proud to Be Endorsed by IUOE Local 825

I am proud to announce that my campaign for Essex County Commissioner in District 3 has received the official endorsement of International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 825, representing more than 8,000 members across New Jersey.
This endorsement means a great deal to me because I believe strongly that working people should always have a seat at the table when decisions are being made about the future of our communities.
Operating Engineers are the skilled workers who help build and maintain the infrastructure we rely on every day — from our roads and bridges to our energy systems, buildings, and communities. Their work is essential to moving New Jersey forward. I know this work intimately as a transportation government affairs professional.
As Commissioner, I will continue fighting for good-paying jobs, strong labor protections, workforce development, apprenticeships, and economic opportunities that reach every corner of Essex County. I believe economic development should not simply be about growth on paper. It should be about creating pathways for residents to build careers, support their families, purchase homes, start businesses, and build generational wealth. That means investing in our workforce, supporting union jobs, expanding apprenticeship opportunities, and making sure Essex County is prepared for the future.
I am grateful to IUOE Local 825 for placing its trust in our campaign and for recognizing our shared commitment to building stronger communities and a stronger future. This campaign is about service. It is about showing up. And it is about building a future where working people have the opportunity to thrive.
Thank you to the members and leadership of IUOE Local 825 for your support.
