Every Door, Every Neighborhood, Every Voice: Bringing Democracy to the People

This afternoon, I joined our district leaders and campaign team in East Orange’s 5th Ward, the Mighty Fifth, to connect with residents and encourage our neighbors to make a plan to vote.
There is something powerful about knocking on a door, introducing yourself, listening to a resident’s concerns, and having a real conversation about the future of our communities. I truly enjoy connecting with people at the doors, talking to them about the issues impacting their lives, and advocating for solutions together. I believe that you cannot represent people well if you are not willing to show up, listen, and meet them where they are.
That is why m campaign is committed to reaching every block, engaging every neighborhood, and speaking with residents about the issues that matter in their daily lives. These conversations are an opportunity to listen, share information, answer questions, and remind our neighbors that their participation in our democracy matters.
Democracy is not just something that happens on Election Day. It is built through everyday conversations, community involvement, and the willingness to show up for one another.
New Jersey’s in-person early voting period is October 24 through November 1, 2026. Registered voters can vote at any designated early voting location in their county. No appointment is necessary.
