National Association of Democratic County Officials Endorsement

I am proud to announce that my campaign for Essex County Commissioner, District 3, has been endorsed by the National Democratic County Officials (NDCO).

This endorsement is a tremendous honor and amplifies my purpose for running for Essex County Commissioner: my belief that our communities deserve county government that is responsive, accountable, transparent, and focused on delivering results for residents. 

As a daughter of Essex County and a resident of District 3, I know firsthand how deeply our communities are connected to the services and decisions made at the county level. From East Orange and Orange to South Orange and Newark’s West Ward, our district is home to hardworking families, seniors, young people, small-business owners, working people, and longtime residents who deserve a county government that listens to them and works for them. I am running to make sure their voices are represented in County Government. 

County government touches many aspects of our everyday lives, from infrastructure and economic development to public safety, parks and recreation, senior services, public health, transportation, and more and should not be an afterthought.

I want to help build an Essex County where we invest in our infrastructure, support small and minority-owned businesses, expand opportunities for young people, protect and support our seniors, improve pedestrian and roadway safety, strengthen our communities, and ensure that taxpayer dollars are being used responsibly. Most importantly, I want residents to feel that their county government sees them, hears them, and is working on their behalf. I take seriously my service and the work on this cmapaign, and this endorsement recognizes that work.
